Beachside Duplex

Designed to function as either a single occupancy dwelling or a duplex, the sweeping roof planes of this beachside project unify the home.

In raising the eastern side of the house, the architect has created an opportunity to provide privacy and landscaping on the street elevations while maximising views to the ocean.

In this project, what appears to be a single house allows limitless flexibility to its residents. When separated into two wings, this design offers comfort and privacy to visiting family and friends.
